At this rate, American women won’t see equal pay until 2058

The National Committee on Pay Equity, states White women make only 77 cents to the dollar, and African American women only make 64 cents to the dollar when compared to men doing the same work.  Creating fair and equitable pay across gender lines would lift the five million more women than men out of poverty, provide 60 % of women with fair pay, and  generate $447.6 billion in additional income for the U.S. economy.  Empowering others economically means empowering all.  As women, especially women of color enter the realms of business and entrepreneurship, STEM fields, and increase their global participation, pay equity is crucial. #equalStayequalPay.
