The Anacostia River is a landmark to Maryland and D.C. residents, yet over the years, it has become severely polluted by harmful contaminants. There has been local and government efforts to clean up the river, but in many ways it still remains polluted. Come join Together Restoring Economic Empowerment (TREE) and the Howard University Office of Sustainability and learn about the problem and what you can do to fix it!
This event will be held at the Blackburn Center on April 21, 2017 from 3pm to 5pm. Food will be served!
